Darcy is a sweet girl with a lovely fine crimpy fleece. Superb handle and very little guard hair. Email us for a fleece sample - you will love it. She is a daughter of 1/2 Accoyo Penumbra (black from a silver mom), and our wonderful silver matron of the herd, Receta. Darcy is a full sister to our wonderful silver Gilda Gray. We discovered a large silver patch on Darcy's left knee at shearing - she is otherwise solid black.
Darcy is a great mom - easy delivery, lots of milk.
Darcy & Avatar gave a very exciting medium brown girl, Darby, in August 2009 - wonderful conformation and presence, Extremely crimpy soft lustrous fleece - we are betting she'll score the big ribbons. Congratulations to Darby's new owners, Windmill Haven Alpacas in Texas!
Darcy delivered a fawn boy in 2010 from her breeding to Silver Champion Toledo. His fleece is beautiful, fine and dense - and he is again perfect in conformation and bite, with great presence, substance of bone, and coverage.

Once again, Darcy delivers a little dark brown female with black high points out of Xanadu P. Resolute, she's super dense, super crimpy and has an incredible AFD of 16!
